Generation: F1

F1 Sheepadoodles and Goldendoodles are first generation dogs, meaning that they’re 50% poodle and 50% the other cross breed, be it an Old English Sheepdog in the case of Sheepadoodles, or a Golden Retriever in the case of Goldendoodles. The F stands for “filial“. F1 Sheepadoodles are less hypoallergenic than other generations such as F2, but generally have a temperament closer to that of an Old English Sheepdog.
